Registration of the abstracts:

Abstracts will be submitted to the following domains:

  • Preclinical Medical Science
  • Clinical Medical Science 
Abstracts submission:
  • First, an account must be created on the website.
  • FIRST AUTHOR will log into the account and submit the paper.
  • Maximum of abstracts submitted by a student as FIRST AUTHOR is 2
  • Every abstract can have:
    • 1 First Author
    • 1-2 Co-authors
    • 1-2 Coordinators (one member of UMFST teaching staff and/or UMFST partner hospitals)
  • No registration or presentation fees are required for this event
Structure of the abstract:

The abstracts may contain a maximum of 300 to 500 words for your paper.

The platform does not allow submissions of abstracts exceeding 500 words.

• Each abstract should include 3 to 5 key words.

Official Language of the Congress:

The official language of the event is English. All papers must be submitted and presented in English.

Validation process of abstracts:

Validation of abstracts is done by:

1. The Scientific Committee consists of teaching staff from UMFST, responsible for conducting a blind review of the abstracts.

 

Once the paper is reviewed, an e-mail regarding the status of the abstract will be received. 

The abstract could be:

  • The Scientific Committee has accepted the paper. After reviewing it, the committee will proceed with the following steps.
  • Minor Revision – The author must revise the paper within 24 hours of receiving the email. To achieve this, the paper should be updated according to the reviewer’s comments and resubmitted.
  • The Scientific Committee has rejected the paper, so it will not proceed to the next step. The email will include the reasons for the rejection.

2. The plagiarism review – all validated papers from the previous step must successfully pass the plagiarism detection software offered by UMFST.   

Presentation Rules:

Presentations must be in .ppt format; other formats will not be accepted.

The presentation must follow the same structure as the abstract.

The oral presentation will last 5 to 7 minutes, followed by 2 minutes for questions and discussions.

Paper Publication:

All validated and presented papers will be published in a supplement of Acta Marisiensis - Seria Medica, the official journal of the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology in Târgu MureČ™.
